Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary Grammar School is a state owned school with experienced teachers and modern teaching and learning facilities providing education to prepare students for higher education and opportunities.

Eva Adelaja Girls Secondary School, located in Bariga, Lagos, Nigeria, was founded on January 27, 1964, by the late Mrs. Evangeline Adebayo Adelaja, an educator dedicated to providing quality education for girls. The school was officially renamed in her honor on her 60th birthday in February 1987.

 

Over the years, the school has achieved significant academic success. In November 2024, Eva Adelaja Senior Girls Secondary School emerged as the first-place winner in the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers Lagos Area Committee’s annual Secondary Schools Quiz Competition.

 

Additionally, in December 2024, Eva Adelaja Junior Secondary School was recognized with the President’s Award of Excellence for being the Best Junior Secondary School in Nigeria.

The school’s alumni association remains active, with national officers visiting the alma mater to identify areas for improvement and to develop partnerships aimed at uplifting the school and positively impacting the students.

 

These accomplishments reflect the school’s ongoing commitment to academic excellence and the holistic development of its students.

New Era Girls’ Secondary School, located in Surulere, Lagos, Nigeria, was established in 1948 by seven visionary women: Lady Kofoworola Aina Ademola, Lady Oyinkan Abayomi, Lady Lande Bank-Anthony, Lady Ayo Alakija, Chief (Mrs.) Remi Doherty, Chief (Mrs.) Olajumoke Kwao-Sagoe, and Chief (Mrs.) Omolola Alade. Their mission was to create an institution dedicated to grooming and nurturing young girls.

In November 2023, the school celebrated its 75th anniversary with a series of events, including the commissioning of a newly remodeled school hall named after its first principal, Lady Kofoworola Aina Ademola. The three-day celebration featured a workout session, a basketball novelty match between junior and senior students, and concluded with a thanksgiving service and reception.

The school’s alumni association, known as the New Era Girls’ Secondary School Lagos Alumni Association (NEGSSLA-A), remains active in supporting the institution. They have undertaken projects such as remodeling the school hall and organizing career guidance and counseling sessions for both junior and senior students

In sports, New Era Girls Senior Secondary School emerged as the champions of the inaugural Monday Gift Girls Cup in 2023, highlighting the school’s commitment to extracurricular excellence.

The school is located at 21 Ogunmola Close, Surulere, Lagos, and operates from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM daily

Mushin Community Senior High School, located on Malam Gana Street in the Idi Araba area of Mushin, Lagos, Nigeria, is dedicated to providing lifelong education to students, aiming to help them achieve the highest possible standards in academics.

The school offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to foster personal growth, leadership development, and teamwork among its students. This approach ensures that graduates are well-prepared to contribute positively to society.
